All in all the tools have some weight to them and the quality of metal seems good.
The tools all came loose in a box, I was thinking they'd at least be in an organized sack. I considered just buying the tools I really needed or this kit but after how they shipped, definitely buy the items individually.
Haven't use ALL of the tools yet in exception of the chain breaker, hex wrench set, freewheel remover and lockring wrench. The tire levers were missing from my set unfortunately (weird that another person mentioned this same missing item). The chain breaker broke on the first change I was using it on (Brand new Chain). The two flanges on it broke right off but I was still able to use the breaker afterwards. Freewheel remover was ok, came as a cast piece (looks different than the stainless in the picture) - On state freewheels, you'll want to use the nuts to tighten it down onto so it doesn't fly off when trying to crank it off. Lockring wrench, rough around the edges but gets the job done - definitely better quality than similar price points on Amazon. Hex wrenches are probably the best tools in the kit. The multitool is much smaller than you think, can't really do much with it (probably good for on the fly adjustments but that's about it).
I'll probably return this set or the pieces I don't want to keep and keep:
Chain Whip, Freewheel Remover, Lockring Wrench, Hex Wrench Set, Tri Tool, and Bottom Bracket tool. (Definitely buy these from State!)
The rest of the items I wouldn't want to cheap out on. Unfortunately they weren't up to the standards I was hoping for.
As far as a complete beginner tool kit, it would have been nice to see a Crescent wrench, needle nose pliers and a cable cutter (because who needs to shift).
With the tools I was able to use I have already done some upgrading to my Black Label V2 and she is looking gooood!

This is a very comprehensive tool kit and the tools appear to be good quality. The price is very comparable or better than what I found on Amazon. I was a little surprised that all the tools were individually packaged. I guess I expected them to be in a bag or roll or something. The price was slightly lower than if you order all the tools individually. I would have liked to see a spoke wrench but it's not inadequate without.

Ordered the set because I had to get my bike back on the road. The parts are quality and get the job done no complaints here.

The frame is good but the scratches and nicks are not acceptable but it doesn’t mean I’m not going to have a great time with it

Better than average quality, got the tools that matter most for fix/single speed bikes, will also use on my 4130 All-Road.

I expected there to be tire levers and there were none.
Everything else was great, good quality, very fast shipping.
No regrets.

This kit is awesome. It’s not filled with unnecessary tools that I will never use. Just the basics. And the quality is good. The tools aren’t flimsy or weak. I’m sure I’ll be using them for a while...
