The colors really POP and this bike rides so smooth. I’ve made slight adjustments to make it fit me better but overall I’m very satisfied with this bicycle. I recently added a wald basket to the front and it now is the grocery-getter. Thanks State!

What an awesome bike! I'm no professional, this was my first bicycle purchase since my childhood days. I'm 36 and fairly active but my city has great paved trails for cycling so I shopped around and figured I'd get the best bang for my buck out of this 4130. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and have taken it out 4 times, roughly 30-40 miles. It's light, has great speed, very smooth easy ride, looks amazing (received a compliment on it while waiting at a light) and just an overall great easy bike for anyone thinking about buying one. A few tips if you purchase one:
1. Be sure to tighten all bolts with your allen wrench, especially the one on top that connects the steering to the frame and keep the two sizes of allen wrenchs on you when you go out just in case something loosens up.
2. Buy the drink holder and upgrade to a more comfortable seat. I did not buy the seat from State but after going out the first time, I order a gel seat off amazon.

I am very happy with the bike. It has all the features I want. Right now I am using it to commute in the winter.

The 4130 Steel Line earned its namesake from the double-butted 4130-grade chromoly steel used on the frame and fork that maximizes strength without making compromises on weight. Now with completely redesigned geometry to accommodate larger tire clearance and equipped with fork and seat stay rack mounts to be the perfect all-rounder.
