Great bike

First 100 miles on of mixed single track and roads and it rips! Some little tweaks to get it shifting smooth but feels like a super solid bike. SBC is making some great components. Great bike for the price.

What an absolute blast.

Gravel bikes don't get much better than this for under $1000. Bike is really smooth and comfortable. I opted for 650b wheels and don't regret it one bit. If I had to choose one upgrade I think I'd go brakes and/or carbon fork (just for weight).

Received bike in record time unfortunately there was some slight damage, but I contacted state bicycle and they replaced the parts needed that were damaged right away!!

Great Do Everything Bike

I live in Anchorage AK where it is common for people to have 3 or 4 bikes, a road bike, downhill mountain bike, fat tire bike, etc. I wanted one bike that could do it all and I haven’t been dissapointed yet. My commute involves going back and forth from gravel/mud trails to potholed streets, and the bike takes it all like a champ. I haven’t take it touring yet but its nice to know the bike is capable of doing so and I would feel confident biking to Girdwood or Talkeetna or beyond. It’s nice to know when the snow starts falling I can switch to the 650 wheels with studded 2.5” inch tires.

I love my State 4130!!!

The bike showed up a couple of weeks ago and I can't stop riding it! It was just what I needed to restart my fitness and to help with finding new adventures. The bike is incredible and much more than you would expect for the price you pay. I also have the top tube bag and it is perfect for carrying all of my ride supplies and again the quality is superb. I would definitely recommend State Bicycle to anyone wanting a solid bike for gravel riding!l

Bought on a whim.

I bought this bike going on 4 years ago for no real reason or purpose. I've ridden it through Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Utah. All over Utah, top to bottom. Over many thousands of miles easily. Outside of new tires, brake pads, saddle, and racks - completely stock from state bicycle. Only just today started upgrading to SRAM components, not because it needs them, but its what we all do at some point. I have many many bikes, as we all do if you are into this sport. This one is my favorite, and still makes me smile when I hop on each time.

For the cost, you really can't beat this bike.

Great bike

Great bike, but sometimes I think I should have bought it in size "L" instead of "M". I'm 5'11". But overall I really like the bike.
